Our Vision and Commitment

At our preschool, we are dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where your child can thrive. Our goal is to support each child's unique development, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. Through play-based learning and engaging activities, we aim to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

In an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting, the teachers play a crucial role in fostering the development of young children. Here’s a description of the teachers and the role of a Key Worker:

EYFS Teachers: Teachers in the EYFS are dedicated professionals who specialise in early childhood education. They create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. These teachers focus on the holistic development of each child, ensuring that they make progress across all areas of the EYFS framework, which includes:

  • Communication and Language: Encouraging children to express themselves, listen attentively, and develop their vocabulary.
  • Physical Development: Supporting children's fine and gross motor skills through activities like play, movement, and handling tools or materials.
  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: Helping children build confidence, manage feelings, and develop positive relationships with others.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Introducing early reading, writing, and number skills through playful, engaging activities.
  • Understanding the World: Encouraging curiosity about the world around them, including people, technology, and the environment.
  • Expressive Arts and Design: Providing opportunities for creative expression through art, music, dance, and imaginative play.

EYFS teachers observe each child's progress, plan activities to meet individual needs, and communicate regularly with parents to support children's learning at home.
