Pupil achievement 2022 - 2023

Phonics 2023 - 24

All children in Year 1 take part in a phonics screening test.

A pass mark is set by the government and children either pass or fail the test. Children that fail sit the screening test again in Year 2.

Children who have English as an additional language also take part in the screening. The table below shows the percentage of children that passed the test compared to National figures.
